Wifisfuneral almost doubles as New York and Florida native, with family and roots in both– his grandparents still reside in South Bronx, and that’s his birthplace, but his mother moved him to West Palm Beach when he was toddler. To get the span of his influences and an in-depth look at his takes on the current rap landscape, we took an afternoon trip with Wifi to the South Bronx, where we were greeted by his grandma and his grandfather, and a full spread lunch. We find out more about his Puerto Rican roots, the people that raised him, the rooms he grew up in, and we also get to meet producer/friend Cris Dinero, Wifis’ girlfriend and much more, all packed into this 15-minute mini-documentary for Boy Who Cried Wolf.
